- 30 years of experience and advanced training as a psychotherapist, with a distinguished career as a successful mental health professional. He has personally designed and supervised award-winning mental health programs at dozens of hospitals and treatment centers all over the country, serving thousands.
- 40 years of devoted spiritual practice, as a disciple and student of some of the 20th century's most widely accepted and respected (and notorious!) spiritual masters (Osho, Gangaji, Swami Satchidananda, Eli Jaxon-Bear, Peace Pilgrim, Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj, Adi Da Samraj).

In January of 2006, Swami Sky became the first person to be formally initiated by Swami Premodaya as his disciple. From the very beginning (2004) Sky played a central role: he successfully urged Swami Premodaya to offer his direct spiritual guidance and assistance, along with his Divine transmission, in more programmatic formats (e.g., classes, workshops, trainings, etc.).
Besides profound engagement with Swamiji's direct spiritual guidance on a daily basis, Sky has diligently participated in – and directly assisted in a significant manner with the development of – all of ICODA's various trainings, classes, workshops, retreats – i.e., essentially all ICODA events spanning nearly two decades.
